For the first time ever in his 12 year career, DanTDM has gotten involved in a drama, against creators KSI, Logan Paul and MrBeast.
Recently, Dan made a tweet calling out MrBeast, Logan Paul, and KSI, following the latter three's releasing of 'Lunchly', a competitor of Lunchables.
In the tweet, as you can see, he was frustrated seeing modern YouTubers. He stated that he "just can't not say anything anymore." He also added that "this is selling stuff for the sake of making money", and questioned the three Lunchly owners, "How does this benefit your fans?"
He further stated, "This is selling crap to kids who don't know better than to trust the people who are selling it to them", finishing off with the deep order, "Do better."
His tweet received lots of support, but also a little bit of hate mainly from the young fans of KSI, Logan Paul and MrBeast.
Following Dan's tweet, Logan Paul was the first one to respond - and it was negative:
He attacked Dan by saying, "I'll tell you what happened to YouTubers. We spent our lives creating content and building our brands. Now we want to build businesses."
Finishing with self-pity and turning to Dan, he cried, "You don't say anything when Lunchables faces bans for allegedly containing lead, but when we create a better version, you're upset? Then don't eat it."
On this very post, Logan turned off normal replies, instead allowing only those whom he follows to reply. As every person who replied was associated with Logan in some way, he had received only positive replies. This either indicates fear of his, Logan's, image being ruined, or that he already knew that Dan was in the right.
Next, KSI has also responded to DanTDM, attacking the latter's Youtooz:
Majority of his replies were negative, with many of them taking Dan's side. When someone pointed out that even KSI himself has a Youtooz of his own, and that Dan was talking about food and not Youtoozes, KSI made another tweet regarding Dan's sponsorship of a candy company named MunchPak around eight years ago:
This tweet made nothing better, as negative replies did not cease. Many people, including iBallisticSquid, defended Dan saying that that promotion of MunchPak was purely a sponsorship, that Dan never promoted MunchPak as a healthy product for kids, that the event happened almost 8 years ago. All of which, of course, were true.
Regarding MrBeast's response, I have no precise information as to when he responded - but I do know that he did respond, and later deleted the tweet. On the bright side, however, I have managed to get a screenshot of the tweet moments before it was deleted:
MrBeast was the only one who has not made any negative or attacking remarks towards DanTDM, but only defended Lunchly and Lunchables. The beef, however, continues to perpetuate.
That sums up the DanTDM Drama, the first ever DanTDM Drama. What are your thoughts?
